Yeah I would have liked it better if it was more of a family drama where his artistic ambitions were not supported and he had to overcome that. Felt like a lot of the family- and especially dad scenes were cut. Enjoyed Der Baader Meinhof Komplex way more. Similar stylistically to Das Leben Der Ander...

The UK techno 'revolution' brings us new things imo. It takes inspiration from 90s rave, but it is generally darker, slower and more minimalistic. I doubt there's a real Larry Levan moment ahead of us though. Something so revolutionary, on such a scale.. I can't fathom what it would be. Gazelle Twin...
