Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel

Yeah I would have liked it better if it was more of a family drama where his artistic ambitions were not supported and he had to overcome that. Felt like a lot of the family- and especially dad scenes were cut. Enjoyed Der Baader Meinhof Komplex way more. Similar stylistically to Das Leben Der Ander...

Re: things that have made you happy today

That kind of stuff is expected on Kingsday. Always plenty of fights and other nonsense.
Especially in places like Raalte..

As always, the countless festivals that feature good music are trouble-free.

Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel

I remember reading that the director meant to propose the question. Like: does the
end justify the means, or is this going over the line? But to me, with the ending as it is,

Re: too much revivalism? is dance music stagnating?

The UK techno 'revolution' brings us new things imo. It takes inspiration from 90s rave, but it is generally darker, slower and more minimalistic. I doubt there's a real Larry Levan moment ahead of us though. Something so revolutionary, on such a scale.. I can't fathom what it would be. Gazelle Twin...

Had to come between two guys literally smacking each other unconscious.
Hardly a reason for the whole thing too. King's day madness started early this year.
