Re: SNH Cycling thread
Running an 80s time trial frame at the moment. 700c back and 650c in the front.
Relentless gearing on it now though, 52x16. Means that at at my fav cadence,
I would roughly be going 25mph. Bit fast for a city bike I reckon.

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
I have no idea whether these things have separate outs / cue routing etc.. I would probably just use them as controllers and mix on a mixer :) So do you actually mix the two audio inputs in the 'controller' or do you control the software and it happens there / in a separate soundcard? Either way won...

Do you have two separate outputs?dansci wrote:Does anyone know how to precue a song on a numark controller...so I hear the next song in one ear before I blast it on the master channel?
Weird question probably, but I imagine if you start DJing with just software and a controller
it's not really a given.

Re: Would you ever try heroin?
Pulp Fiction and Amsterdam tourists proofed snorting heroin is not a good idea.Harkat wrote:Do people smoke heroin lol? I thought you snorted/injected
Also has anyone injected eckies, mandy or coke before?
To be fair, both Mia and the tourists thought it was cocaine.

Re: Gear lust
Your current monitors go down to 40Hz? What are they? The old HR824's had decent response that low, but they are an exception as far as I know. Actually the only flaw of those speakers was containing that low end reflected by the passive diaphragm in the back: http://i60.tinypic.com/2uh4g47.png I'm ...

Maybe if he has a dedicated room to build a studio space in. How much of those issues are actually in your music and not just in your 10x3m2 bedroom? Unless you have the room to perceive these massive waves, you will have to properly contain them. In the average student living situation you are more...

Not at all hubb, get the small Genelecs if you can afford them.
You don't hear that advice much in dance producer circles, but it's
a very good choice.
Every solution has it's drawbacks. With this one it is of course the lacking low end.

Re: Wrong frequency?
I don't think it can be anything like that. At first I thought it would be the missing fundamental effect. If you would actually record low synth notes with a mic that can't pick up the actual fundamental, or play it back through speakers that can't.. the ear can still perceive the right tone becaus...

In Logic, middle C is c3 instead of c4. Does that have anything to do with it
by any chance? I'm just spitballing here, I'm not that familiar with the software myself.
