Re: Any other soundcard besides ASIO4ALL?
Your browser and any other programs does use your soundcard and fl uses Asio so this is why you cant play these 2 at the same time.
Except you can go to the audio options in fl and change the audio device to your soundcard and then you can watch youtube and play things in fl

Re: Kicks and sub bass question
909 hi passed @ 55hz 808 lo passed @ 60 hz can't go wrong. I use sidechaining if i want a more natural sounding sub (ie. ripped off burial). This is how to get more weight to kicks? Well maybe, if you wanted a really heavy kick. 808 is the sub, 909 is the kick. Generally they dont play the same thi...

Re: NI Massive Sound Issue, Help Needed Please
Go the voicing tab, set it to monophonic. Thank you sir! Can you explain to me why the sound changed like that? I'm just curious And if you want to make those sliding type of sounds, heres one way to do it. Set to monophonic and the second one to legato triller. Now when you press notes it will onl...

Re: Can you produce when others are listening/watching?

Re: What made you want to produce/make music?
I see a lot of beginners get frustrated because they go in thinking it only takes 30 minutes to make a track you hear on MTV or YouTube. Take your time, it doesn't even need to be finished in one session. Make a melody or good bassline and continue it another day. Don't discard it because you can't...

Re: What made you want to produce/make music?
First i thought that it would be cool to have atleast 1 tune thats made by me. After messing around bit more i realized that its hard to create a good track. After learning more im fucking frustrated trying to make a good bassline and track, mad to my computer and mad to myself...but i can't stop do...

Thats what i thought this will sound and do, got to try when i got some timemthrfnk wrote:Also, someone mentioned reverb sidechaining - doing this with a really big kick and large reverb in slower tempo (~90bpm) music sounds really good and gives a really nice flow and fill to the track.

Re: Sidechaining, for more clean drums.
Dunno how its done in ableton, but in fl i use peak controller to sidechain, mainly just sidechaining kick and sub, snare and midbass.
Might have to try that reverb sidechaining, sounds interesting
