WTF i just experimented bouncing tunes out with different amounts clippin occurring in the level meter, but it sounded fine when listening it, how much people clip theyr master output whent they bounce their finished...

what i mean is even when my level meter shows that its clipping a lot over 0 db, it doesnt sound distorted at all...

wonder how accurate some level meters are ?

omg. just saw this thread. all i have to say is that this is the best show in the history of TV ! watched the seasons from 1 to 4 real marathon style :) probably have to buy the dvd boxes if i can find 'em cant wait for the fifth and final season.. its funny how all the crap tv-shows go forever, but...

if you're using reason i suggest you'd rewire it to cubase or something and use proper vst eq's and compressors and whatnot for the mixdown. also a good spectrum analyzer is a helpful tool if you need to find the clashing frequencies. however even though the graphic eq's are good tools, try to avoi...

This is a great thread. Mixdowns are the biggest problem for me atm. I can come up with melodies, beats and basslines pretty easily, and arrange them, so it sounds somewhat like a tune. But when it comes to mixdowns im lost! When i compare my tracks to other peoples tracks, especially known producer...
