Lol fair play to each his own. I dont go spare over people using sync but if you cant do it by ear if it came to it then its a bit weak imo

Suprised by the attitudes of a number of people towards this. People that do this deny real fans the chance of ownership in order to make a profit and take money out of the scene. Proper pricks imo and big up four tet and vivek for having none of it. Some of u lot are mad

Re: thoughts on equipment setup ?
The mixtrack is a dj controller mate. Reckon your best option is to stick with software then add bits of hardware when and if you need/want to. The gear your looking at isnt gonna get you very far and youll find your quite limited compared to working inside the box.

Re: mixdown question
I don't get it. If you turned shit down to be peaking at -30dbfs, surely you can use the same parameter to make it louder? Mixing everything down too low and then putting a limiter on the master to bring it all back up doesn't make a lot of sense to me. This. Read the moneyshot thread for info on g...

Re: Technics issue
Will be a lot cheaper to do it yourself plus if you grab a multimeter you can recalibrate the pitches while you got it open. Viperfranks tutorials are bang on if your gonna go down that route

Ghosthack, you still there? What kind of license are these and your other samples released under? Can I use a snare hit in a commercial song? Thanks! Re: Having trouble trying to get your music noticed?
I reckon the best way is to just keep making tunes until your happy with what your coming out with, start sending them to blogs/djs Repeat and send to bigger blogs/djs etc Follow for follow is pretty weak I think, same for those people who like 1000s of tracks a day blatantly having not listened to ...
