Re: First Dubstep Tune - No idea what I'm doing.
Lol Well. Better than my first tune. The kick drum pattern is decent. The wobbles are a bit loud and obnoxious. Need some more sub bass as well. Well structured overall though.

Re: Adam Brown - Epicenter (Mantis inspired Dubstep)
Interesting tune. I liked the in your face drop. It was intense without going over the top I think. The drum beat thumps hard but feels very standard and because it's so orthodox ends up sounding plain. Interesting structure. Overall decent. The imbedded version stops at 2:38 for some reason.

Re: Forever Alone - Unfinished feedback wanted
Nice drum beat and percussive pattern with a strong piano melody. Try to make the tune a little bassier, maybe through some eqing and compression, then bring back the synth melody you have in the beginning for the interlude and become even more adventurous with the growl bass in the second drop. Wor...

Re: The intrigue of the anonymous artist
I agree with all the points made so far. And Yes, I think it definitely is about personality. I think it comes down to the introversion/extroversion spectrum, and personal honor and integrity. An extrovert may enjoy the spotlight a little more than an introvert and want to be seen just as much as th...

Re: Thricton - Needles [Feedback]
Really nice percussion and drum beat you have there. Your buildup lasts a little too long. The synth playing the melody is decent. But the drop is incredibly abrasive. That's probably what you were shooting for but it's a bit obnoxious.

Re: Blast It - Vox (Excision/Bassnectar Influenced)
Twas actually not bad. You were going for an aggressive sound and for what it's worth, I think you achieved it. The highlight being you've structured the song very well. It is very abrasive though. Excision even at his worst isn't quite as over the top. Bassnectar though... For a tear-out track, it...

Re: Multi Flex - Second Weight (Dark deep dubstep)
I really enjoyed that. The percussion pattern is interesting and dynamic, the atmosphere is great. The screech bass that comes in around 32 seconds might be a tad to screechy considering the quiet tension of the tune overall, though. But the bass hits hard. Superb track all in all.

Re: Gun company CEO threatens to kill people
A young girl recently had to meet with the Secret Service after making milder threats on twitter. I can imagine he would be in much deeper trouble. We've had at least 7 presidents out of 44 shot at directly and/or killed through guns with many attempts foiled. I can understand why the government tak...

Re: jaydot-Arial (ambient dubstep)
First off, I really like the atmosphere and the rolling clap. It works really well as does the melodic snare (not sure how else to describe it). What doesn't work so much is the horn towards the end. It seems too detuned and really sticks out from the rest of the track. The bells are a nice touch th...

Really like the atmosphere. The percussion also appropriately subtle, but the hats sound a bit off and dampen the meditative vibe you have going on for me. But overall really good.

Funny way to show that Citizen's United decision was not one of the Supreme Court's finest judgements, though I can't imagine him winning his argument.

Re: how you feel about your music
Very Ambivalent. Jas0n hit the nail on the head about not being able to create the tune you hear in your head. My problem is I hear many tunes in my head, but when i sit down to create my mind is completely empty. And Yea, there are so many options I end up disliking every sound because it's not the...
