Concentration is one of the most important things to...

is there any way to change the board skin/view? This white version is blinding, I would welcome something a bit more darker.

100 % wet no. It monoizes your signal heavily (i guess all amps do it?). You could experiment using it on sends or sending L and R channels to each instance of boogex but its not very practical.

Re: voxengo boogex

would be nice if someone shared some knowledge and tips on this thing, and overall guitar amp vst`s.

I just recently started playing with it, mostly as 100% wet. Works best on simple waveforms, interesting when you feed it pitch bending sounds. Apply other fx after it.

Re: The Share A Synthesis Sound Design Tip

Good tips so far, sometimes a new trick can spark a whole session. I`d like to share a technique i use, which is fun and useful... I have a korg nanopad which has a decent x-y controller (this is what makes it fun). In FL I guess you can hook up your joystick and use the built in x-y... Play a simpl...

Re: Some FM8 & Massive Videos

I like that you play the sound in the beginning and you play it in a track in the end, as I`ve seen in "Drum & Bass Pitch Styled Lead In Massive", subscribed.

Re: Synthesizers: FM8 vs MASSIVE

master massive first, get to know the basics of subtractive synthesis. If you are talented enough you can achieve everything you want just with this synth. Or if you want you can go head first and try a bit more complex fm synthesis and make your learning curve harder. I guess it all depends on you...

Re: Looking for some sick Massive preset packs to learn it

You ain't gonna learn anything by watching presets. Just watch some tutorials, to get the idea how the synth works. Then make your own presets. The more presets you make, the better you get. I think you got things mixed up yt tutorials just make you click without thinking while watching a preset ma...

Re: Darkstep Wobbles and Basses?

I`d say you`re looking for a "machine gun" type of bass, similar to that in noisia`s track of the same name. General guidelines are quick pitch down envelopes with a lot of distortion. There was a good tutorial on yt that replicated that bass pretty good and I cant find it anymore.

Re: What am I doing wrong?

a very simple technique you can use is to play or browse through your drum loops library, play the loops over your basic kick and snare pattern and keep the bits that you like. Sometimes you will hear a good layer for your snare or a nice percussion that fits. Also high passing breaks is good too. F...

Re: Can't believe I'm asking this: Is Sytrus better than FM

fm8 has more effects, sytrus has a better modulation "scheme". You can import your own waves in sytrus, I dont think you can in fm8...Really what it comes down to is how much you learn the synth. If sytrus is better but you know fm8 better then fm8 is of more use to you. If I had to choose...
