Re: Skreams in for the kill remix goes gold
La Roux's release went Gold, Skream was the Bside. Notice it's not Skream's face on the plaque? Saw the video on MTV last night actually for the OG mix... being on Interscope, having videos on MTV and shit... surely that doesn't hurt. Skream's 2nd best selling album has shifted how many copies? 10k?...

Re: DJ's.. would you play a show without subs?
most clubs don't have anything below 40hz anyway... clubs aren't your home studio. I'd play the show, yes... I'd talk to the promoter about better sound and have them talk to the venue owner about the likelihood that people won't come back next time.

Quoted for truth man. Actually when I think about Bassnectar, I think Sub Swara, because for them it's like nothing is sacred. It's all about moving asses and having a good time.whitelight wrote:Sub Swara definitely are some of the most intense shit I've ever heard live.

Re: BassNectar.....best dj in the US???
dude dances harder than the whole crowd. an all too common phenomena in the ableton-live/burning man scene for the "djs" to dance their asses off like mad men on stage. why not when you have all that extra time as the laptop does your work of a dj for you! great performer absolutely! best...

Re: BassNectar.....best dj in the US???
I wouldn't say there is a "best" but Bassnectar puts on a whole fucking hell of a lot better show than your average DJ or even your better top of the line DJs... also, if you're not a turntablist and you can't envision having more than 1-2 records on a single turntable at a time, nor under...

Also don't forget ZAUDIO016 Rob Sparx vs John maveric - Windscreen Sniper is in shops now! Rob Sparx obviously isn't in the mood to be making a "deep" tune this week so we get two gnarly rave tools from himself and Maverick. HARSH. I think you know what they were referring to haha. ;) Min...
