i group him with like, last japan, forever forever/kollaps/prayer-zomby and his cult group, that kind of glassy, very synthy, black and white aesthetic grime that gets a bit unlike proper grime at all (which imo is preferable than being a shit copy of old grime) he kinda reminds me of vaporwave stuf...

if it is the og tracks whoever you sold it to is gonna feel pretty silly right now

i think i saw an article that says it's the original repressed and the title 'surprise' and edit is just like a joke or something, i'll probably look out for it dropping in the shops, love the tunes but don't mix much house

cheers boss, it did have more vocals but a friend pointed out to me that they were out of key with the synth line, and i took them out cos they were clashing quite awkwardly, i get you on the energy front as well

same for this one (i have the instrumental not vocal), not a listening tune at all, although it does sound quite madly far out and experimental to my ears

yeah innit, i prefer longer mixes, i'm not amazing at banging it in right first time then quickly chopping tune A, i like to hear i've got it in and blend it

yeah, vast majority 140, but old grime can swing between like 130 and nearly 150

haha, a good mix for me isn't that clean man, a lot of putting a tune in then adjusting on the platter and pitch while both are playing from the speakers, but good in managing to beatmatch pretty much all of them and get them blended eventually particularly as grime i find can be a bit of a long tin...
