Re: Speaker poppin with bass, but only one side
I can't be clipping the speaker because my amp is 100w and the rating of the speaker is 180w... I think it must be the surround, the speakers are NS-20m with the same 'woofer' as the NS-10M so not exactly big on bass

Re: 'Skunk-like cannabis' increases risk of psychosis
It's like this weird attitude where because there was so much negative bullshit spread about weed back years ago people have gone way too far the other way and started proclaiming it to a wondrous thing which you can smoke constantly all day without any negative results and anything otherwise is a ...

Speaker poppin with bass, but only one side
My left speaker makes a kind of distorted bubble popping sound at low frequencies with fast transients. It's not consistent either, it's only happens 5% of the time or something.
What do you think it is and how can I fix it? The right side is perfectly fine

Re: 'Skunk-like cannabis' increases risk of psychosis
I have some bones to pick with the study, and everyone jumping on to the BBC editorial line that 'drugs are bad, duhh'. A) Correlation only, the authors don't even doesn't jump to conclusions on it with pg.5 stating "... if a causal role for cannabis is assumed, skunk use alone was responsible ...

Re: Good Samples?
Just look for the 100 breaks samples pack on here, it's ace. Dubstep is based on garage and garage was massively influenced by jungle so it's a similar kind of vibe

Re: industrial / factory sounds
I wouldn't fret too much about copying it, just it sounds like average samples and metallic synth sounds with a reverb set to a lots of reflections like a hard surface in an empty medium/large room.

It's actually one of the really well-regarded old skool jungle choons, I can't remember if that's the A or B side but apparently the B side gets overlooked (random fact there for you)

Re: What is your method of producing bass lines?
Create a great drum part and THEN create your killer sound to fit the drums. terrible way of working imo start with the drums and youll be forever trying to fit in the melodic elements around the drums whereas imo its better to do the organic bits first and then they dictate to you where the drums ...

Re: Greek lives matter
Everyone amongst the EU governments knows that the Greek government has been crooked since before they joined. The prime minister of the UK actually wanted to block it but didn't because everyone else wanted them in and he would have made the country look bad (and now look at our image). The Greeks ...

Re: Valentine's Day
In Japan and Korea all the girls give the boys milk or dark chocolate then all the boys give white chocolate back a month later (to stop them giving the same things they received before). It's a completely commercial invention preying on their sense of social obligation so they have to buy loads jus...
