Re: Anybody else get pissed off at people that only dj?
nope i get more pissed at big name djs that make shitty productions and get signed based off of djing though , and producers who get gigs based off their production and suck at djing this is annoying, n-type comes to mind. Really? I mean I've only heard a few N-Type songs but I never really thought...

The OP's comment is fucking ignorant. Have you ever thought that people mix because they enjoy it? I can happily jump on my turntables for a few hours and actually enjoy mixing.

Re: the sheffield dubstep scene?
Tuesday club (regular union night) gets some decent acts, although its often a bit overpriced and crowded. Bigger than Barry run a monthly night at DQ which get the odd dubstep act. theres also the seldomly run 'Wee Bit Mean', only been one night this term, but they're planning more. Me and a mate ...

My headphones all have 3.5mm connectors so I just leave that adapter thing in the headphone input on the mixer a...

Thanks for the replies, glad it's not just me who has a rough patch at times.
What's everyone like playing live? Does the pressure get to you or do you perform better?
Only ever got to hop on the decks live a few times on a DnB set, I was plastered though haha
