Sounds real nice man, if you're open for feedback then the snare could only sound better with a lil more volume / high end.
But yeah, vibes

Re: Weapon X - Mean Girls (Swamp)
Sounds like a nice reverbed white noise snare would sound very nice in here and help fill some of that space without cluttering it up too much

Re: What 1 processor could you not live without?
Is there a point to this thread? I wouldn't want to live without any of them, they each have a purpose. You've included similar effects, such as a compressor, limiter and transient shaper which are all variations of the same thing. Yet missed out effects such as chorus, ringmod, phaser, stereo enha...

What 1 processor could you not live without?
Just curious to see if anyone picks anything other than the main EQ/Compression.
I couldn't go without EQ myself but I know people that would rather have reverb or other FX.
What's your no. 1?

Did a new mix with your tips: http://soundcloud.com/fredsteve/work-in-progress-first-house Think it sounds better. You have any more tips? It really...

Re: What do you do when resampling?
By nature I'm a very perfectionist ocd type person. So when it comes to songs the thought of bouncing something down and not being able to make changes was a really difficult thing to move on to (seriously) In the end it comes down to gut instant, get the sound how you want it, get it bounced and ge...

My studio room has to be clean, smelling nice (courtesy of my plug-in febreeze thingy) warm and without too much light (sunlight kills it for some reason) As well as that I always need a drink, cold drinks like water are so-so but if I can get my hands on a tea of some sorts then well that's just sw...

I use Kontakt, huge selection of sounds in there. If you're budget is a little lower than the full komplete package then try the komplete elements. Still get plenty in there but for a fraction of the price
