Re: Hardware Synth recommendantion
Groundhog day nah seriously... i was there once, ud get amazed by how much ur computer can excell at things if u LEARN your tools inside and out... the level of complexity of the sounds you're after lies in resampling mostly... and is it a cool thing if i tell u both noisia and skrillex use itb setu...

Re: gain structure and mixing aka THE MONEYSHOT THREAD
My bad mixing skills has really begun to piss me off lately.. I even cry myself to sleep trying to figure out this riddle. I was wondering if anyone could give some good tips on how I can practice my mixing, as I don't want to make a WHOLE tune and then start mixing. Don't anyone have some fancy ti...

Re: Trouble mixing down out of logic
Try limiting things earlier on in the mix - a little bit at each stage adds more overall loudness by the time the audio hits master out - I'm talking like half to a db on the buss, then half to a db on the submix then the same again on the master out. wow its a shame how little i tend to use limite...

Re: Stereo Pan Law
huge thread on gearslutz about that i remember...
some say certain pan laws are more "musical"... like the +3 one... if i remember
i mean, u always end up balancing ur volums now dontcha? to me any of these settings won't ruin a mix if crafted by an experimented cat

Re: How to make your own drums

it would be extremely hard to prove i didnt record a sound that is similar to the original.. u people are shoving clouds...
in the here and now i hugely doubt anyone will notice i took one sound out of a tune (which i never do anyways)... people are big on drum machine samples anyways haha
