And who says this place can't be helpful? Had no idea about the nodes thing, this should be required reading.
I'll get back to when I figure this out.

Major agree re LA. Don't even consider it. Downside of the bay - second most expense place in the US to live. Rent is very high. Home ownership is mostly limited to investors, people who rode and played the first bubble, and tech couples who pull in $300k+ a year. There are outlying communities/thu...

Re: a question too stupid to ask?
It's not a stupid question at all. And it can be a number of things. I've done tracks where it's just one bass with tons of modulation and long effect chains turning on/off. But I've also done it with different sounds that complement each other. And that's not to mention resampling. Just keep messin...

Re: What is wrong with shit?
I think dubstep has definitely died down lately. And this forum is a lot quieter than it was a few years back. Times change, new styles will come in. When I first heard dubstep it blew my mind. I'd got bored of a lot of other music, and was looking for something new, and dubstep was perfect. But no...

Re: Producing with Depression
Depression is a fickle thing. And also something you can easily get yourself worked up about. Sometimes i feel great, and others it just dont want to fucking do anything. Meds do help, but you have to find the right ones. I think ive tried 3 different ones before i settled on something that actually...

Re: Is Trash 2 worth the money?
I can't understand people actually buying plugins... are you a professional or just a hobbyist? Do you drink? Why? What I meant is if you're just a small hobbyist who isn't making any money out of his tracks, why should you pay for your plugins? BUT, if you're a professional who actually makes mone...

If I'm not mistaken, Hamburgs Nuklear is similar in design. I think they call it something different though. I do however remember they had a pretty in depth manual so that might e worth taking a look at.
Or I could just be talking out my ass.
Who cares. I'm getting drunk.

Re: best iOS/android music productions apps
Nanostudio is a great all in one sort of deal. You can't actually use other synths/effects with it (although you can use Edin as a sampler). BM2 is the most grown up daw without breaking the bank (cubasis, auria). It's great on cpu and pretty straightforward. Accepts audiobus and IAA. It's my pick fo...
