not sure what D1 uses but ill guess that hes got a hardware mixer, could be wrong.
skream-fuity loops and logic
loafah-logic
i reckon d1 uses logic- some of his sounds are sitting in logic suynths
hmm, i thought it would be more varied like lots of programs going on

Of course a good track wont sound like the programs that are being used to make it-im not worried about my set-up, im more than happy with it, i was just interested so that when i listened to the tracks i knew what they were made on. sometimes i can guess sometimes...

Bassline construction (not the sub)
ive got a problem with this bassline ive made on logic in the es2. the attack is quite high and there are notes that are very close together (dundundun) if u know what i mean, but when its set to mono a nasty click appears when those notes close together (not touching) come into play) ive spent a go...

DRUMS (fx, eq, compression, etc)
as ive bin making music ive realised that there needs to be rather alot of focus on drum effects, which in dubstep seems to focus on strange compression techniques and equing, so can people drop their knowledge in an understandeble way on how to make drums sound in particular ways, such as taking aw...

The tremolo effect sounds interesting, cool that ur a logic head-the exs24 seems quite limited, although i use it alot, it just doesnt seem like you can do as much with it as say the nnxt advanced sampler in reason-such as looping etc
any coolness that people may have overlooked to do with that thing?

liking the track-good move youve done all the drums but you need 2-3 catchy samples which you put in there, a voice or a strange sound, something to jump out, raise the adrenaline and keep the track moving-also gives it a vibe and more catchy. drums seem good tho, just a bit empty on the top side of...

Hey, im thinking about buying a small mixer to mix my tune down on, like an allen and heath or something, what is your knowledge in these things, cause ive been making music for a while and i still cant get my sounds as 'big' and 'spaced' out, is it the hardware mixer that does this and do you have ...
