anybody else having trouble making decent hats and cymbals? I've gotten some decent results on everything else, but cannot for the life of me make any decent cymbal sounds...

@Mthrfnk: It's def catchy. I personally think you could bring up the lead a bit more and give it a bit more presence (not the arp one but the one in the beginning and after the 3rd buildup). The buildups are strong. I think there should be more parts after the drop sans vox which would help to reall...

I think a lot of what your hearing is actually vocals that have been washed out a bit and sidechained. Other than that it sounds like pretty simple saw wave chords lowpassed.
