yes i see some producers makeing it clip intentionally...

makes me think of q-project, whose drums stand out in any mix you put em.
just a slight bit of clipping makes your drums stand out.

all timeless tunes i know didnt overdo that loudness thing tho.

Talk to someone from Vex'd and they will tell you a lot of there stuff isnt dubstep.
ok bro, you still know what im talking about...
most ppl do play it under the dubstep belt.
educate me with some genre bashing if you want tho ...hope its not as queer as in the dnb ;)

distorted midrange basslines and compressed synth drums ...

i feel some of the dubstep stuff around is going real nasty with all that
dist.midrangebass (vex'd) and those (over)compressed beats like techitch.

for me it needs more roots reggae snips, sampled, layered drums and a nice
bassline with not too much distortion please.

whats your pick?
