Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
I really hate the vengeance percussion samples, well and everything else in those packs. If I need drumloops to chop I use the ones that came free with Protools SE (which came free with my D/A converter), it comes in as a total of around 3.65 GB of free cleared sounds.. But usually I just use ...

Re: The Reese Bass Thread
I no longer have Massive. I can try to remake it with Sytrus or Harmor though.

Re: MIDI Keyboards
I don't own one of these personally nor do I know if it would work with Ableton, but what I can say from having used this keyboard before is I really dislike the way it feels and the velocity response is crap, but what can you expect for 50 bucks. To me it is just a toy. Point being if you are reall...

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 41 // VOTING NOW
I hate to seem daft but how do we actually listen to the tracks?
Edit: figured it out.
Wow people put a lot more effort in to this than I thought.

Re: Recreating Skrux/Vexare Bass
It is pretty straight forward isn't it? Just make a supersaw and sidechain it to your kick. Then make some sort of crappy little pluck like in these songs and create some chords with it. :corndance: You might like this song by the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSIFnqZzMDw Pretty neat sound in ...

Yes, I just recently found it.Electric_Head wrote:Have you used ISSE Gregory?
One thing it has over Harmor or Spear is stereo sound though.
Although you could use part A/B in Harmor as your left/right channel for resynthesis.

Re: New software. ISSE.
http://www.klingbeil.com/spear/ This exists and it can do the same things. Also you can do this with Harmor too, it isn't really a new idea. Still cool though. The problem with this method is sometimes sounds share the same partials and unless you do VERY fine editing you wont even come close to the...

Re: The Reese Bass Thread
Made in Harmor without resampling, this reese is one live patcher preset, it also eats 20 percent of my CPU. :) https://soundcloud.com/gregory-t-johnson/am-i-koan-yet Sorry for the terrible mix I just wanted it to be in context with drums and such. very nice. care to explain your chain? heres somet...

Re: Looking for an audio recorder
FYI You might not be able to see this option in the recording tab because of two reasons, either your soundcard doesn't support it or you need to right click and select "show disabled devices" and enable it.

Re: Looking for an audio recorder
Just enable "whatyouhear" or sometimes it is called "stereo mix" or "stereo chipset" in the recording tab of the windows sound configuration thing.
Then just record straight in to your DAW or Audacity or something.
