Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread

I'm this autist What DAW do you use? I don't use a DAW. I do linear processing with small, robust 'stream processing' utilities and JACK server. I have Ardour in case I need to do non-linear things, though. How long have you been producing for? Seven years What VSTs do you favour? I don't use VSTs....

No such thing. Stop worrying about that.
Different frequency ranges will sound better on different systems as different systems have different tone.

Re: FL Studio 12 Coming To Mac (Properly)

They don't make a Linux version because FLS is in Delphi and there is no working Delphi compiler. It's nothing to do with ImageLine's ideals. I'll make you a graphic as to my software environment when I get home. Let's not shit up this thread anymore.

Re: FL Studio 12 Coming To Mac (Properly)

What about other unices? like linux? If they release for my platform, I might actually start using FLS again. They can get fucked. They make up about 1% of the market, and that 1% are all open source hippies, that turned their backs to awesome commercial software of the world. Please don't tell me ...

Pomf isn't secure either. Teamspeak is subjugative, but probably safe.

I'm glad they realize supporting only one platform is no longer a wise decision.

Re: FL Studio Mods ( like videogame !)

There are a lot of open source DAWs. They usually don't have as much of a feature set as commercial ones. If interested, look at Buzz/Buzztard/Buzztrax, Ardour (Linux and Mac only), LMMS, and/or MusE.

Re: FL Studio Mods ( like videogame !)

FL Studio devs have been approached several times about letting FL Studio's workflow be modified and giving the user more customization options. The answer has been clear every time (granted, I haven't been on those forums or used FL Studio in at least two years) that Image-Line would rather take th...

The soundcloud player is being shitty and I can't play any of the others at this time. You've all outdone yours...

J ACK A udio C onnection K it (heh recursion :) ) Yeah, you get it to work with live streaming though. I used JACK for a bit for Audacity but internal play back and output at the same time using a ASIO driver, it doesn't do - at least with 0 latency. Fair. I don't think I've ever had anything run a...

Re: Does cutting certain frequencies somehow boost others?

Minimum-phase EQ's, like AxeD said, causes some frequencies to shift in relative position to others. The problem is that not all frequencies shift or not all by the same amount, so compounding the composing frequencies of a sound after a minimum-phase EQ will have a different technical volume than b...

Pretend you're the drums and you're really fat. You need to compress your fatness so you take up less space.
