also! make a folder for your own presets and then u can tweak those later and create more... once u make ur own patches youll never want to use a preset again!!

reason advice.. take it or leave it but after a couple years of using it daily i would say: 1. dont use the internal limiter but rather make tunes with proper headroom 2. use the 6:2 mixer instead of the 14:2 (or jus rewire to daw is best) 3. learn how to properly layer synths and eq them as u do so...

mbp.. 4gigs of ram at least (if running multiple programs like re-wiring).. external soundcard

So the question is how do you go about your remixes or vocal additions..?? Do you chop and use a sampler to trigger different vocal/instrument parts thruout the tune or line them up in a timeline and write the rest of your tune to that?? Jus wondering and feel free to share how you go about it too! ...

light compression ftw? also maybe a resonant filter at say around 60 Hz? slight reverberance can change the magnitude of things aswell.. o and unless it hasnt been emphasised.. EQ.. and not jus the sub bass... creating room for ur sub bass is prob more important than the actually eqing of the sub ba...

@marshy stereo field mix is proper!!! mix is on point aswell, no complaints, maybe a drop or remix.. sub bass is room-filling @billycrystal nice use of formant filter?? i like the groove to the track.. it sits well and ur foundation is solid... the low end gets muddy at the break... loved that drop ...
