Acid Dubstep?
Is there such a thing? Closest thing to it I can think of is The Judgement but that's done using the TS404 not the TB303. Some artists and labels that produce it would be appreciated.

I think most of the stuff they did together was never released, i think they did mawo dub together. Yeah, according to Discogs they both wrote Mawo Dub. Some dubs like New Life Baby Paris and Heartless Ninja sound like they could be collabs. Heartless Ninja is definitely on the top 5 dubs I want re...

Not sure what you're getting at when you say they're 'fancy'. You saying they're elitist? Not sure what they have to be elitist about.Tino_Be_Like wrote:I would but their how you say "Fancy" I like this forum and I'm starting to love itDr Bloodnugget wrote:Go to the UKF forum.

First tune I heard was Archangel but the ones to get me into the sound as a whole were Crack Bong (Loefah Remix) and Goat Stare. Second drop

Re: Dubstep Doc
I enjoy understanding and witnessing both sides of something... this is just aide A. When do we get to see side B doc? In fact there should be at least a side C as well. The only other thing on your blog seems to be about how transcendental Nero are. That Ukf you've posted as an example of what 'a ...

Re: Carbon Based Lifeforms
yeh, all of their albums are fantastic. Listen to world of sleepers. Favorite album by far. Lots of psy ambient is incredible. Listen to Zero Cult, Biosphere, OTT, etc. :z: Biosphere is the shit. The only other electronic music album/mix I've heard as much as Substrata is Northern Exposure. That is...

Re: Thom Yorke the DJ???
It's nice that the boiler room gives a platform for this sort of thing to happen, the guy is in one of the most influential bands of the last 20 years, but I've gotta say (and I'm sure he'd agree) the mixing was pretty poor, and it's just a shame he didn't take the time to polish his act first. The...

Re: Thom Yorke the DJ???
If its that 30 min mix of him on boiler room then funnily enough I saw this the other day too. I like radiohead and his track selection was pretty cool but I thought the mixing was fairly amateur tbh. Let's be honest he can get away with not being a top notch dj...cos it's thom yorke so he'll sell t...

Re: Most famous dubstep track?
Archangel is liked by a lot of people who don't usually listen to EDM so I actually reckon you could have said that at one point. These days in the UK at least Eastern Jam or Me & You probably. I'm a little surprised that something like The Knowledge didn't get more mainstream success.
