I didnt think there was a magical area, I just wanted to get a feeling for what everyone else is doing out there.

Ive noticed when I do mixdowns I always seem to put too much high end in my mixes making them too bright. I was wondering what the cutoff should be for the highs?
2K 10K 8K? HIJK?

look it up on youtube or google for question / answer bassline phrasing. once you understand the concept of asking questions and making answers with your synths.....arrangement will come naturally.
