Re: Slypto - Water (Deep/Dark)

Everything about this is sick, i just want it to hold my interest more! Something more interesting on the fills perhaps. Also the sample gets lost when it plays in the middle of the track.

Re: Libra - I need your love

Sick little skanker here mate. Nice mix too. The sub might be a little overpowering, if you pull the volume down a touch it might let the high end breath a bit better.

Re: Dub Fiend - Murda [World A Music VIP] [FREE 320]

Nice idea with this one but the execution is not quite on point, the sounds need more gelling. Better use of eq would be helpful.

Nice work here. Its gets quite tense towards the end. I felt quite uneasy in a good way.

Re: Six Chakra - Hate (IDK WHAT TO THINK ABOUT THIS)

This strikes me as very generic sounding. I cant really say much else, it is quite forgettable.

I like the vibe to the second track. Did you play the piano sound or was it a sample? nice work.

Re: Rate some of the tracks in my ep?

Production wise the mix is quite muddy on the tunes. Perhaps go back into each sound and see if there are any sounds that can be rolled off a bit more. Side chain compression would help to have the kick and snare at the front of the mix. I must sat the tunes are not to my taste though.

The tracks are very bland. The sound design is not excellent.

Re: Six Chakra - Meltdown (Robotic deep dubstep)

The kick is not right. Id say listen to a few Caspa tracks for reference kicks. I would try the drop at 58 secs as the first drop, it has more impact. Catchy bline and nice synth sound.

Re: Neurodriver - Sidewinder (Remix)

cool groove on the beats. The sounds are clean but need tighter eq (gets a bit muddy with the synth pads in places) I would also suggest more creative use of panning. Some synths to the left a bit and some to the right a bit. The odd fx panned hard right etc.

Re: Feedback is much appreciated! (Wonk, Riddim, Filth)

Im not a fan of this sound much but the bline is catchy. As mentioned already the drums need attention. This sort of sound requires the kick and snare at the front of the mix. Use sidechain compression to duck the other elements around the kick and snare. Not loads, just enough, then a bit less prob...

Re: Sparks

Thats a driving tune right there.

snare is muddy thought, with the kick beneath it you can roll it off more and achieve a cleaner sound.

Were the chems about before the ban? One reason I went to FWD and liked dubstep was because of its absent of class A drugs.

Re: What dubstep DJs still cut and play Dubplates?

The only problem i had with cutting was showing up to clubs and the decks were not there/in a cupboard/broken. Played at Fire after Subscape once and the second turntable was broken. By the time the engineer (a tiny lady i might add) got the spare from the club across the way, the room was empty
