for those coming from a dubstep background, I think Lee Gamble's latest LP "Koch" might serve as a good introduction to recent techno excursions. and pretty much everything by Andy Stott; their sound palette and general ambiance isn't unsimilar to a lot of the darker, moodier, heavier dubs...
