Re: Au5 Blossom Basses
I've also tried. I don't know what the inital process is, FM8, Sytrus, Massive, whatever.
But i have high belief that after the inital sound is made, it is put through a lot of stages of harmor, using the PRISM function. That is how it gets its really juicy sound. Just a thought.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread

I have been super busy with music but i will deliver ...

Re: Melodies
Hey Azuk, i noticed you were having trouble with melodies (setting aside our growl bass differences.) Here is an example melody of something i've made. If the melody itself doesn't interest you, but the method does, let me know. I took piano lessons for 15 years and theory lessons for 12 years. Mel...

Re: help resampling bass like zomboy
He doesn't resample as far as i know of :) I remember back in Feb. 2013 he said he does not resample. Most of his sounds are out of Massive. Fucking right. If you want to spend 15 extra hours you can try to make it in massive. Its called FM synthesis. You'll have more control over sounds like this....

Re: The Reese Bass Thread
Made a reese bass that sounds like the one in "MakO & Protostar - No Fire" The remarkable thing about this bass is that it was made entirely in Massive with absolutely no external effects. Massive is great... https://soundcloud.com/photon-2-1/mako-no-fire-bass-made Thats pretty dope, ...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Okay this is going to cause another huge argument, so lets avoid that. I discovered something last night. Do you guys ever have issue getting your growls to have more vowel character and less sloshy watery lifelessness? Well last night i was playing in patcher, and i made a feedback loop in my rout...

Funny how u got upset at the one not just praising u, but giving u constructive feedback. 'But it's my first track, tell me its perfect and my growls are the best or i get mad' Funny how you didn't read the part where i simply asked for more positive criticism, not throwing bricks in my face. Re: Solid + Clean 808's [Help]
For an 808, to bring out the really deep part of the sub, where would be the best place to boost the sample. Right now I have it boosted about 10dB at 50hz and low cut at 100hz. Or should I be boosting / cutting at different frequencies? Don't gain your frequencies. It will ruin the smoothness of t...
