Not necessarily. A separate party could do the same thing. I find the abovementioned scenario less likely, actually.dubunked wrote:Created by the people who own Ableton ur saying to get their workers to work harder?

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
It's only 1 buck for the precompiled version though, that's hardly spectacular. Yeah in this case, I'm also being idealistically pricky, as well. They're distributing binaries for a very good price, it just goes against the customs/expectations that come along with an open-source project. I tend to...

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
I recently compiled Ardour because I don't want to screw with setting up WineASIO for FL Studio right now. I'm not expecting a whole lot, but we'll see. Nonetheless, many are saying it's the best audio production client available on linux. The devs are kinda pricky, though, at the same time as being...

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
FL, Studio One and Logic are so much win, Ableton would be too but it crashes too much, Bitwig isnt even out yet and you assume its asscheeks, Reaper is ight. LMMS is like a said a fail clone of FL4, I hate the shit out of Darkwave, Audacity is NOT for Sequencing, and idk the rest Late response, bu...

Re: Harmor or Massive or Harmless?
An individual that uses a sound resemblant of another's is not necessarily a copycat or a bad producer, even if the similarity is intentional. It is those that take similar sounds and implement them similarly, attempting to come up with a product intentionally more than similar to another product wh...

Cheesy? Maybe to a low degree, but for the most part, I disagree. These guys don't have any particular tendency to try and sound emotional. Their music is incredibly diverse, so I don't believe they're trying so hard to evoke an emotional response. This just sounds exceptionally well-produced to me....

I don't like it, to be honest. The biggest turn-off is the increase in font size, which makes every post much bulkier. I'm switching to the old layout. I liked subsilver best, though.

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
Gurn- I'm definitely a fan of it. There isn't a whole lot of progression in the first minute or so, but that is not bothersome and I'm fairly certain that you intend to append to this, anyway. Great job. :) The repetition does begin to annoy me at around 4:30. Ada- I enjoyed it. However, as Gurn sa...

This could be interesting. I may help out a bit. I have been experimenting with three-dimensional CAD graphics.

Well played. However, I'm uncertain regarding the validity of your claims considering that, unless I failed to perceive some interpretation, no component of my prior statement alluded that I had possessed any intention or interest in indulging in any sort of self-panegyric.

Re: How to get Itchy synths?
I am astounded upon the observation that one who perceives himself as outstandingly noble in the presence of others with distinct preferences would make such an assumption regarding others' dependencies.
