Used to love a bit of trance back in the day. In my opinion the progressive side of things was where the real quality was at... Unfortunately Bringer isn't really bringing the best pro-Trance argument to the table with the tracks he's posted (and some may say the same about mine) The earlier stuff ...

Its kind of dissapointing in how quick some people are to simply believe a youtube video. In this case, for some people, youtube > 2000 years of the scientific method and M-theory. Lets see if this guy can submit any kind of theory for peer review and whether anything he said can be experimentally v...

Re: The Cubase Q&A Thread
When I load in a sample sometimes the pitch is completely different than the original sample after just loading it in, some samples are fine though.. and sometimes also the pitch changes when I close cubase and restart the same project.. and time stretches don't save either sometimes or just random...

Re: If you are a 'real dubstep' lecturer, watch this.
So whats so great about 'real' dubstep? As far as musical complexity goes it's kindergarten. As far as being 'pure' or 'meaningful' and 'bare' why dont you play the mostest one of these tracks to a throat singing Tibetan Buddhist or a Alabama chain Gang back in the day. And they will tell you its al...

Re: Beatmatching indie track
I found the actual tempo is 126 by tapping the tempo, i played the guitar over mannualy so i could see the midi data against the linear time sig, and its just all over the place. There's no way I can figure it.
Its fine, ill just mess about with it musically.
Cheers.

Beatmatching indie track
Hi, I want to experiment with 'Band of Horses - The Funeral' at 133bpm. So in cubase I simply cut a loop in its natural bpm then set the locators to 4 bars and did the audio process timestretch 'set to locators' and it fits. but when i put some drums on it the beat is not in sync with the music. I h...
