Re: DJ Youngsta
if you want to talk about technical dj'ing skills...teasing, double drops, blends, etc.... youngsta is still untouchable, imo. he's a machine. if you ever get the chance to watch him in the booth do it. don!
Re: DJ Youngsta
Don't get no better than the Youngsta. I like watching Chef but technically I don't think he comes close...
Re: DJ Youngsta
Surely N Type comes close on the level of how jokes he is.
Re: DJ Youngsta
I never catch his sets on Rinse and have never seen him play out, yet he is still my favourite DJ. Dubstep Allstars 2 may have something to do with it.
Re: DJ Youngsta
Most entertaining and fun Dj for sure!Rowdy wrote:Surely N Type comes close on the level of how jokes he is.

Re: DJ Youngsta
I saw him on Monday here in Manchester, and i was watching him from the crowd, and the people who stood behind him who normally stand there skankin were just stood there with their eyes glued on him! I don't think i've ever heard even the slightest mistake! He must have just perfected riding the tempo fader, instead of speeding it up/slowing it down with his finger on the platter or the vinyl... Such an inspirationseckle wrote:if you want to talk about technical dj'ing skills...teasing, double drops, blends, etc.... youngsta is still untouchable, imo. he's a machine. if you ever get the chance to watch him in the booth do it. don!
Re: DJ Youngsta
n-type and youngsta are both incredibe djs but you caant really compare them,
the play completely different styles, youngsta lets a track play for longer whereas n-type hits you with track after track ridiculously quickly
just look at the difference in the number of tracks on their dubstep allstars mixes

Plus he plays the best tunes.

Re: DJ Youngsta
Surprised no one has mentioned Oneman, insane dj.
Re: DJ Youngsta
Oneman is the guy with wicked skills and the one to draw for the bad boy tunes that you can't even remember... makes you just go.. " OH SHIT!!!!"
Youngsta is the robot DJ who's circuit boards can not be mashed up with the stupidly exclusive dubs that make you pull a face like... "RAH!".
Personally i go for Yunx every time because the ways he mashes up a bassline and blends tunes so you can't identify one from the next!

Re: DJ Youngsta
^THIS! its to the point where you have trouble figuring out which tune is which. he's got a great ear for basslines that work together. you hear this on the tempa allstars 4 cd, and even any of the early rinse sets. watch him on the eq's too!steshine wrote:he mashes up a bassline and blends tunes so you can't identify one from the next!

Re: DJ Youngsta
Youngsta cannot be touched...he's not gone cheesy over the years either, he's stayed true to his original sound which I love!
Re: DJ Youngsta
Youngsta is the best DJ in Dubstep, end of. There's VERY few DJs I'd go out of my way to see, he's one of them.
