All about the LAB sub horn - bass like you never knew existed...

Bass is maternal, when it's loud I feel safer

my mates just finished building a HD15 off speakerplans.com, which seems to be where a lot of soundsystem men hang out. Sounds heavy, shook his room to pieces.

The Eminence speaker book is a little dated now but if you can get hold of it it goes through all the technicalities quite well.

Jeez man, is that real?

You'd imagine that produces enough bass make you levitate off of the ground.

the foundation of the building     is a subwoofer cabinet. holy freakin cats. after the first couple of pics i thought it was going to be for a stadium or a huge nightclub but it's for a studio. that's completely mental.

hehheh.
It is completely mental.
Check the site out for more pictures and the Amp rig they custom built for this system, which is really quite beautiful looking. Complete audiophile geek out !
But I would pay good money to hear the bass from say Goat Stare on this bad boy.

I get to see a good soundsystem every time my dad has a DJ gig

The system has: 4 peavey dual 18"s cabinets, 2 dual 15"s, 2 dual JBL 15"s,
The only problem is they're heavy as hell

He has a lot more but we can't take em' all 8)
Hits The Lows pretty good, but it could get lower
