Does anyone know who has ran this label. Would be cool if these tunes would see a digital release.

One of Artworks tracks off of BAM001 is on Hatcha's Pure Dubstep album(or what ever it was called).

Hatcha was the owner of the record store Big Apple Records, and presumably he ran the inhouse record label as well. No idea of his opinion on digital releases or nostalgia.

I thought Hatcha just worked there, didn't think he owned it?

http://www.kmag.co.uk/editorial/feature ... rview.html - got that from this kmag interview, but it seems to have been wrong, most sources say he was "head buyer".

http://www.riddim.ca/?p=105 - Should've remembered that there was a Hatcha interview/piece in the Hyperdub archive, owner of the store was a John Kennedy.

Anyone can confirm this. Don't want to buy some FLACs which are not playable. But if they are I would buy them immediately.

I guess this is who used to run it:
http://www.getdarker.com/articles/23070 ... interview/
DJ Hatcha: Uh, well, what happened was, um, Jason come into a record shop I was running...

Pipecock: Big Apple?

Hatcha: Yeah, Big Apple Records, I was running that. Me and Artwork and another guy, John Kennedy, we used to run the record shop.
