It's probably one of the best tracks I've ever heard. Bloodstep is a master of his craft! and do I smell a new brand coming on? FJBJ-> "for juggalos by juggalos"Today wrote:hahahahahaha!!!! i love that shit

Can't tell if troll or actual juggalo ... or whether or not there is any difference between the two
I love those people. They rep so hard, and have the most cheesy taste on earth

Tech N9ne is an excellent rapper who has years behind him of quality material with critical acclaim especially on his newer albums. I'll check later for that Excision collab.
About that though, I can't really say I like Excision's sound in his most recent tracks. Songs such as Too Late, That Girl, Aliens, No Escape, made me a fan. I cant really get with the headache inducing sound he's doing today.
Anyway, here is Datsik's first video, a collab he did with Korn's John Davis.

I'm not liking this either. Which isn't to say I don't like Datsik. I honestly think he has some superb tracks; songs like Jenova Project, Fathom, Gecko, Quantization Error, Galvanize, even Nuk'em and Havoc. But I don't like songs such as "Evilution" at all. Now it's just a headache inducing sound. Korn isn't what they used to be either, they've declined critically and commercially.
Datsik was one of the first dubstep artists I liked. But I took it upon myself to learn a bit about Dubstep's recent history. I have a deep appreciation and repsect for the music of Coki, Mala, Distance, Skream, Toasty, Kode9, Pinch, Vex'd, Kromestar, Plastician, Burial, Shackleton, Sukh Knight Etc. I can appreciate those artists and still like Datsik Excision, Cookie Monsta, and Downlink, but I also am spending a considerable amount of time listening to Compa, Thelem, SP:MC, Sleeper, Killawatt, Goth-Trad..
Well that was my first rant post on the forum...

Bad times... DatsiK has gone mediocre. I loved his earlier shit but that track with Davis wow...
I can't wait to hear old Davis producing a solo track either, it's inevitable, he crowned himself the creator dubstep anyway

Datsik has never really been good... "Swagger" was sick the first time I heard it, Downlink remix was decent as well. Not denying his skill on the buttons but let's stop pretending like this is a huge fall from grace.

hahaha " J DEVIL aka Jonathan Davis" fucking lmao
datsik should do a hip hop collab, after all he started out making rap beats. i dun get this whole korn vocalist tip these guys are on, it's fuckin stupid.
track was mediocre bro camp same-ness, too. I kinda feel like datsik could do better, esp for a collab, its all hyped up as "3 totally different styles colliding into one!!!!" but then sounds like it was made in 2009 by one boring bro dude.

DatsiK's selling point to me is those cold, dead sounding womp sounds. Love them.
