Cant wait to catch him in Mexico(where i'm from) with Author this December.
AFAIK it will be the first proper dubstep show in my country.
Whereabouts in Mexico you at? There's a very high likelihood of me moving to Mexico in the next couple of years and wanna get involved in spreading the sound

Mexico City!
yeah im workin on bringing more real dubstep acts, most likely somebody residing in US to curb the costs, i'm eyeing man like Joe Nice and the Truth guys.
promoter said if Author goes well theres a good chance of bringing some dudes over for 2014.

I'll be based in Hermosillo so a bit of trek to Mexico City but I'm sure I'd be willing to make the journey from time to time, hoping to spend a few days in Mexico City in april so if anything's going on around then let me know

Bit late on this but..
On the selfish side of this, this is really sad news - Jack Sparrow was one of the good guys. But honestly i'm really happy for him. From the bits and bobs I know about his journey to where he is now I know it's been far from smooth sailing. It sounds like he has focused himself on a worthier cause and I for one salute him for that and wish him all the best. Thank you for all the amazing music and contributions to the scene!

FAO Jack Sparrow (and whoever will read): [I know all my posts make reference to DMZ Leeds but...] I remember your first set in the main room of DMZ Leeds (I think it was promoting Circadian). It reminded me of earlier sets there(d1, Mala, Youngsta) and reaffirmed my belief that there is still good music to be made in this 'genre'. It was obvious from the crowd's reaction that you had absorbed the music and recreated it in your own way. Sounds kinda fruity but it resembled a tribal dance where the sound continually morphed, producing relentless momentum. I think you've done a lot to progress this music whilst reflecting a healthy respect for the original sound. Good luck with your new career. For what it's worth, 'Salvation' will always stay in the bag!

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Well it'd seem it was simply a case of the good ol' thinking out loud.
