who's got the best 12" art, and whose is fucking shit
i loove skull disco, dmz and tempa too
gotta give shouts to road as well, love their design

and the always underrated berkane sol

is it surprising to anyone else that the artwork for most of the good tunes is usually good
disfigured dubz sticks out to me for having crap artwork on their releases

the very obvious answer for best is Skull Disco so I wont even mention that further
tempa is slick as hell too
keysound is very nice too

Tempa is the most obvious choice. I think there's a thread somewhere dedicated to the best Tempa artwork.

innamind's artwork is pretty sick
personally wheel & deal is the only one that sticks out as being not so good to me. that may just be my personal taste though. although disfigured dubz is not great either after a quick browse. most others that don't have good artwork (tempa, skull disco) are usually just themed fonts/basic designs which is perfectly fine for me (DMZ, System, Punch Drunk, Lion Charge, etc)
wild card goes to medi - love the faces theme

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.
Also, hot cross buns.

I went to a night where they played this and the MC actually pulled the tune before and went "righ right check check, this ones a classic from when i was a lickle youth back in 2007, before the tune we've got a few words from man like mala" and then he made the crowd listen to mala talking about the tune at red bull academy before anti war dub came on

zeke clough continues working his magic for shackletons' woe to the septic heart! label
tube10 recordings had nice label design and pretty coloured vinyl
the punch drunk swirly label text is iconic
quite like the screenprinted bandulu artwork
return ii space is a great package on the whole, not standout stuff but high quality

i really like the punch drunk design
but gotta say when you're holding the plate it does look baare cheap
but i'd rather have a label that puts out great music on cheap looking labels and actually represses for demand than an expensive first run silk screen
the bandulus do look really cool, particularly

vaguely ln topic who here rates full sleeves, i honestly prefer plain cardboard/paper with a nice centre label than ones like the first press fuck mountain
i just end up using the paper ones and find the cardboard outers lying about

surprised noone mentioned hyperdub and 3024. their artwork is usually on point. tectonic has some nice ones too.
not exactly dubstep but i really liked the artwork/labels for dnuos ytivil and that last asusu one.
planet mu had some sick ones over the years.
apple pips manages to pull off the simple logo thing, but it's designed by give up art, the same guys who do tempa shit.
that tes la rok is not that bad, at least not compared to most disfigured dubz and wheel & deal. i think innamind's a bit shit as well.
