The mood of burial

Post by svende87 » Sat Jun 21, 2008 7:15 am

As Burial released "Untrue" I got quite wrapped up in the sound and that special "burial-mood". Since then, I have tried to explore dubsted in general, but I have only found some tunes with the same sound, which I prefer (eg. "Skream - Chookie Thing Lost" and "Skream - Love Don't Come Easily").

Am I right that those tunes are not typical Skream-tunes!?

Are there any other artists or/and albums with the above mentioned mood?

Clubroot - Talisman has a nice Burial-esque vibe on the go...

Check out Itak Tek and Various Productions for starters.

Bit more, how to say, leftfield'ish dubstep. Deep, beautiful soundscapes.

Can recommend llate too.

scuba the album 12" sampler is some gorgeously moody brooding business
