appleblim, necta selecta & ollie rhodes @ SUBHEAVY in Cornwall 22nd feb '08

i'd never had rollies blagged out of me from a headliner before then.
oh for fuck's sake, yes you can have a bloody rollie...hang on, you're appleblim aren't you? sorry, yeah help yourself!

was a brilliant night. i've not heard another <20k rig as good as the subheavy one yet.

it was shit, totally put me off going to dubstep nights for ages, i still think a whole night of just dubstep is boring now, if the artist is really really interesting it's bearable, I saw Bass Clef later that year and it blew my mind, restored a bit of faith.
do you even like christmas?

first proper dubstep event i was at was me, DJing quite a while back, headlining above Pinch and Appleblim.

so that must have been about 2004. i went back to playing breaks for a couple of years after that, and have been kicking myself ever since!

hmmm, i dont enjoy some shitty dubstep night in exeter with youngsta and now im scrooge or something.. i just thought it was boring, i still like the other stuff that i like.

i saw benga at the big chill last year, i dont rate his tunes that much, but the atmosphere was brillaint, gun fingers, fireworks, shit mc, hot girl dancing on stage.. perfect!

I saw Bass Clef upstairs at the black swan in bristol at that life 4 land vs dissident soundclash in 06.. one of the best club nights ever, savage hardtek, clowncore and general wrongness downstairs and then nice dubstep and reggae upstairs.. everyone was dressed as clowns aswell, it was when ed cox was just getting big.
