c0p`s musical taste was quite forward thinking even at his early years. he jumped on break dance and electric boogie at the age of 7 later on kraftwerk`s "electric cafe" have become his first purchased album (erhh, his parents bought it tho). several years later after skipping the common guitar-based musical evolution he was getting disappointed with dirty beats and ghetto speech so he heft the hiphop/b-boy culture just to poppin right into something new. he met with the word techno in 1991 and in a short period he sank in ambient, electronica, acid, uk hardcore, jungle even in hardcore techno. he got his first invitation in 1995 which was a turning point. gaining faith he started the first monthly electronic event in pecs/hungary. he started composing on amiga1200, pc and later on synths and after a few live gigs and releases he realized that he hasnt got enough time besides studying architecture. he switched to the energy saving mode: gave up making tracks for playing tracks.
c0p says:
after a few smaller appearances at paper media in 2000 he was gladly accepted to write to hungary`s leading electronic music magazine called FREEE. in the same year the step forward with organizing parties as well. he booked about 15-20 european and american artists to their events from abroad and since then he`ve been playing 50-70 times every year in hungary and abroad. he appeared on the experimental X-Peripheria and Ultrahang fetivals, played with the crackling Pan Sonic, the minimal Monolake, the detroiter Kevin Saunderson, the happy Howie B, the techfunker Elite Force, the clubber Rennie Pilgrem the raw breakshead Aquasky, the bassline breaks roller Ollywood, the nujazz funkster Kinski "stereo deluxe", the vienna sound Makossa and Megablast, the electrobreakz Lawgiverz, the dubstepper El Sid, the liquid Lee, the roller Doc Scott, a junglist Bassface Sascha, the atmo dnb LTJ Bukem, the atmofusion ASC and Mav, the drumwise Seba+Robert Manos (most of them appeared on their events).
c0p says:
continuing is needless we can clearly see his ars poetica is not a fiction. "searching for forward thinking, nice fusions but we can not deny the past`s achievements either." He prefers playing long, diverse sets without boundaries by style even building on changing tempo terrirories for 6-7 hours. Sticking to musical styles is not an issue, being diverse and playing every aspects with quality control that matters. "abstract, moody, deep or danceable who cares? good music stays good music"
