Are regular sneakers ok? Sone heads wanted to know about shorts.

Just wondering if anyone could sort this out for me.
If there's a dress code concern, I REALLY need to know in advance, as I have to relay that to people I've asked to come.

No real dress code. You can wear sneakers. That said, you should keep in mind that people do dress up for this place, as it's one of our oldest and most well known venues in the city. You're going to have people in t-shirts next to people in high fashion shit too.

The dress code: http://www.leehotti.com/originals/originals.htm

Seriously just don't dress like a thug. Avoid baggy hoodies and tims and you shouldn't have a problem. Sneaks and jeans are fine.

I'm pretty familiar with the venue, and I've been going there for various club nights and concerts for the last 10-12 years.

I'll be there dressed in my bloody hospital scrubs and a pair of pink flip flops, demanding rewind after rewind.

This one was unreal. no joke. unreal.

I'm home 4 hours later -- and i left NYC @ 7pm. The bus also stopped in Philadelphia -- the bus driver was flying!

Just when you thought that it couldnt get any bigger -- it just did. The whole night -- start to finish....went off !

everything.

djs.
dubsteppers.
girls.
photogs.
a-list celebrities.
hip hop legends.
everyone and everything was just right -- all the way around.

360.

i need sleep -- again. Photos, mix sets, more thoughts and everything else appropriate is forthcoming.

naptime !

p.s. - Me, MC Child, JohnAsk, Digital K, the KingTubby Sound System and Sister Nancy next month at ArtScape. If you're in the NYC / Philly / DC / Boston area -- DO NOT miss this one.

Shouts to everyone who came out last night. If you were there, I don't have to tell you that it was OFF THE MOTHERF*CKING HOOK!!!!!!!

Special shouts to JOE NICE, CLIFF AKA DJ SEOUL (thanks again for the Vodka hook up!), SKREAM, VICEROY, LEXXUS, EMCEE CHILD, DAVE Q, SELECTOR MOLDY & anybody that danced with me on the floor (including the group of girls that kept battling me!). Sorry if I stepped on a few toes while jumping around like a fool - I really couldn't control myself.

Oh, and of course CAMO HIGH GRAVITY MALT LIQUOR deserves a special mention for kickstarting my night & fuelling my antics for the evening!!!

RESPECT NYC DUBSTEP CREW!!!!!!!!
