I like it, but with that bass I kind of expected something, that would move me - the sub bass lacks drive IMO. But I just really like when you can feel the bass :-)

The beats a decent attempt. It's got so many dub elements tho.. Grimes quite a unique sound, still good effort.

The vocals sound more old school linkin park than grime, but I guess that's pretty much the closest America has to grime.

Get your artists listening to some ghetto, p money, and dizzee rascals first two albums. Get yourself listening to some SLK, oxide and neutrino UKG (UK Garage music), and Wiley. That will put you in a state of mind far apart from the hip hop and dubstep influence that i can hear in your music.

gen. .... observant criticism for sure....! , thankyou. i bang wiley tunes and ive heard tons of garage and grime , but above trying to make grime , im trying to do me.... and i came up making hip hop beats and rapping... then got into dubstep three or four years ago , ... so really im just making music and grime was the closest category i could put it in ...... i also think this is going to do better this side of the pond by not going all the way into the genre. ........ does is stand a chance in europe?.... i dont know but i hope so!!

and p.s. just to clarify i am the emcee rapping the verses...and i produced it...

It's not that he's likely white, its that he sounds North American Feather to Middle weight caucasian, his voice is what im talking about... he just sounds North American white... its just his vocal demeanor not that he IS white.

Alot of the grime vibe is: Hungry MC + Agressif UK ghetto tone/accent...

your beat is prety much there, I'm just saying your MC's clearly sound like white suburban kids that weight in and around 155 pounds. I'm not dissing, its just that you need "la rage" for this type of music to work.

On a last and still positive note, the only thing that throws me off in this song is the Dubby Jamaican badman style vocal echo that goes "Bidddybaibaiiiiiiiii" but its just the MC (white guy) doing it, and that is disconcerting, because I think black dude dub ting, but it hits me as "white guy what?"

Still tho, you have a solid track going on don't get me wrong, I dont think in any way that I'm better than you or anything, this is jsut my honest uninhibited internet thoughts.

signal recon.. thats a pretty good weight guess , only cause i havent been eating my wheaties lately but we are both downtown cats born and bred, lol.. .. thanks for taking the time to let me know what you thought , id have to agree with you on most counts. i can unleash fury on tracks but these days i go for clarity and class a bit more i think your right about having to step it up on this sort of music.

quite a few emcees at shows here put on fake british accents its pretty funny , its been going on since jungle started....
