Back in the UK from another world tour, Friction is closing the 2014 season in London with one last night of music debauchery. With a line-up any Drum & Bass fan could ever dream of, Christmas has clearly come early this year. Handpicked from the most progressive and active labels, the 5th December will see the some of the most accomplished and up and coming artists team up to bring you one of last and most likely, memorable nights of the year…

This incredible showcase sees the intimate Crucifix Lane welcome Friction and his friends as one of London’s most raw venues will witness an extra special 3 hour set from the label boss whilst Zinc treats the crowd to a unique Jungle set. The Shogun Audio founder has picked a purposeful line up to ensure that this edition of Elevate is definitely one to remember as 650 Friction faithful’s plan to pack out Crucifix Lane…

20 years of performing across the globe has made the London born producer one of the most accomplished in the world. Zinc has fully explored and revolutionised all the main genres ranging from Drum ‘n’ Bass to garage, to break beat, to deep and funky house. For ELEVATE, the true pioneer will draw on his never-ending knowledge of electronic music to deliver an outstanding jungle set aimed to keep the crowds dancing from start to finish. This will be a truly ground-breaking performance tailor-made for the connoisseurs.

Technimatic first caught the eye of heavyweight label Shogun with their emotionally charged yet heavy drum & bass and the pair have now released their brand new single ‘Desire Paths’ on the forward thinking label. Currently travelling the globe, performing from Australia to Romania and with a debut album on the way, their hunger to better themselves is clear. ELEVATE is the perfect platform for them to show the crowds what they’re made of and prove that they’re here to stay…

Born and bred in Bristol, Emperor already has two EPs under his belt and a string of high profile performances around the UK. He’s established himself across all shades of bass music but still showcases a distinctive twist to keep fans guessing. With London having a special place in his heart, the 5th December will see Emperor showcase an avant-garde yet pumped up set which is bound to blow the crowds away.

Last but not least, the artists will receive support from the Skank and Bass imprint who dedicate themselves to opening doors to countless labels within the Drum & Bass scene. The forward thinking brand has worked alongside a whole host of major labels including the likes of MTA, Viper, Hospital and Ram records to name a few. Fast becoming the go to portal for all true Drum & Bass fans, Skank and Bass will no doubt perform the most exciting releases from the scene that just keeps on growing.

The perfect location that is Crucifix Lane was carefully selected to host this drum & bass feast. The central London venue has hosted some of the leading names in electronic music and this bass fuelled take over will provide another unforgettable night for the heritage rich venue. The back to basics approach that this venue has will allow Friction and his very special guests to focus solely on the music as this intimate performance will be one for true fans who plan to flock to the central London venue come 5th December…
