London crew this friday:

This November Axis launches at Brixton Jamm, bringing you some of the finest sounds in Dubstep/140 the UK has to offer. If you love Dubstep and Underground music this is not one to be missed. For the launch we have brought you something special: as pioneers of the scene, these names have been consistent throughout the years and if that wasn’t enough, we also have a DJ that has been making waves in the scene over the last few years with his unique take on Dubstep/140. Love Kulture Project one of London’s biggest Reggae/Dub Nights will be hosting Room 2 bringing you nothing but Vibes. Brixton Jamm will be booming with Bass making it the place to be on November 14th.

Room 1 Line Up:

DJ Hatcha & Crazy D (90 Min History of Dubstep Set)

Not one DJ or producer can claim sole credit for dubstep. But when the history of the genre gets told, no DJ has ever had, or perhaps ever will again have so much influence over the course of the genre as Hatcha. And alongside him will be none other than Crazy D there can be no greater stamp of authority on a Dubstep set than the voice of MC Crazy D “WOW WOW WOOOW!”

Kromestar & Brakeman (Nebula Music)

Kromestar is one of the biggest names in the Dubstep scene today, with a number of high profiled releases on some of the most well respected and scene shaping labels in the genre; including Mala's 'Deep Medi Musik', Scubas 'Hot Flush Records', F-One's 'Dub Stars', Jokers 'Kapsize records' and many more. We are eager to see what Kromestar has in store for the Axis launch.

silkie (Antisocial / Deep Medi)

Silkie has truly cemented his presence and is spreading his viral sonic entities across the globe. Following the Anti Social mantra of pushing boundaries and experimentation, he is one of these individuals where one can actually begin to expect the unexpected.

Commodo* (Deep Medi)

Regardless of whether it’s the tough, dread-pressurised bassweight of his dancefloor-leaning productions or the tonally rich and immersive qualities of his more cerebral work, Commodo’s scrupulous studio techniques are evidenced by the resounding freshness and longevity of his tracks both new and old.

DJ SQUAREWAVE (New World Audio)

Squarewave has released tracks on some of the biggest labels in the dubstep scene, such as Boka Records and Hench Recordings. 2010 saw the start of his own record label New World Audio - now onto its fifteenth release.

Sepia (MindStep)

After the success of his latest release Polaroids new kid on the block Sepia is set to take the 140 scene by storm with more heavy hitting releases forthcoming.
