WEN (Keysound Recordings / Tempa )
JIM JAM (Klang Dem)
The Joey Proud

This time round we will be returning to Bar512, bringing nothing but Garage in our record bags and a killer line up!

Thanks to everyone who's came to our past parties and created a great atmosphere!, for this event we've decided to switch it up a bit, rather than spanning the night over a number of genres, we have decided to focus on just one, all things Garage. From US Garage to 2-Step, 4x4 to Grime and everything else in-between we will be showcasing our enthusiasm for the genre alongside the following DJ's ........

WEN (Keysound Recordings / Tempa)

We're really happy to welcome Wen for the first time, someone who is making waves right now in electronic music, he is one of the foremost players in the resurgence of Grime music, with a distinctive dark and brooding sound. Having released his critically acclaimed debut album 'Signals' last year, featuring the likes of Riko, Keysound Recordings boss Blackdown and Parris. He's released on Wisdom Teeth, Tempa and Keysound and regularly smashes dances like Rinse and FWD, as well as showcasing his take on underground music to venues around the world. We are really looking forward to hearing Wen play a heavyweight Garage set for this South Deal School Special.

JIM JAM (Klang Dem)

Jim Jam makes his third appearance for us in London, and judging by the last two we are in for a real treat. Jim Jam's awesome vinyl collection, along with the fact that he's part of the Klang Dem collective, pushing forward thinking bass-led music, means that we can expect all manner of forgotten gems, underground bangers and classic UK Garage.

In Reckei we have one of Kent's most promising young producers playing a special garage set for us. He is known primarily for his incredible drum & bass DJ sets and tracks, which encompass so many influences from wider music, and we have been lucky enough to have him play at some of our early parties and wanted an excuse to have him come down to showcase his DJ skills once more. Reckei smashes every single set he plays and so we are really looking forward to hearing what kind of fire he brings to our Garage Special.
