sine wave, maybe triangle, maybe 2 or 3 of these, one at -12, etc. not too many harmonics. you won't need too much filtering if you do this right. hipass might be good but you'll have to mess around in your synth of choice to find the best settings for the sound you're looking for. might want to use a touch of resonance or some filter drive.

onto the effects - reverb and chorus would probably sound good. you might even want some kind of vibrato/lfo on pitch or volume or whatever sounds best to you.

Actually I'm pretty sure you can easily get this sound with Nexus. Find a synth that sounds close and move down on the cut off and throw the attack all the way down with little sustain
