Memtrix - Mind Control "Rising Lead"

Postby Ledger » Tue May 06, 2014 8:54 pm

I for the life of me can't figure out how he made the rising lead that you hear during the drop. Hell, it may not even be rising, so my ears may be deceiving me, but either way, it is impossible to not know what synth I'm talking about. Any help will be appreciated.

Although, I have a major feeling he just took a hybrid wavetable in Massive, threw on a bandpass, tube dist, parabolic shaper, and reverb. :u:

Sounds like automation on the Vibrato as well, I think it is rising so he is using an envelope to control the pitch or again just drawing in the Automation.
Any feedback on my songs will be returned

sounds like it might be something as simple as a saw wave...spread with the unison...or detuned with another oscillator...it's a bit hard to hear but it doesnt really sound like the pitch is rising. if anything (to me) it sounds like it might be falling a semi-tone or 2 at first and then playing out...and it gradually gets a 'wide' vibrato brought up as it plays.
