I came across this tune, and i really like the choppy raw sounds.

at 1.19 you can hear what i mean.

I've been trying to make these sounds with samplers, and just loop the sample real quick. I've also tried using noise gates. But i really dont know how to achieve that choppyness. I've heard it in several tracks before, and i think it sounds really great! Anyone have a clue on how to make these sounds?

Have you got massive? use the performer and pick the shapes that are like teeth, they're ramped down, and come in a set of two, three and four. that'll get the choppiness and just play with them! Idk about the physical sound though https://soundcloud.com/gannon211/arabian-knights
