How is this done? (slowing audio down)

Postby JamesHanvey » Tue Dec 02, 2014 10:48 pm

How do you make it go this slow down without it pitching down really low? Changing the tempo ridiculously low then exporting it, perhaps?

There was some stretching software with a guy's name that I've forgotten.

EDIT: Paulstretch.

But yeah, like everybody else said it's timestreching. The outcome (=does it sound shit or good) depends on software and settings. It seems that Paulstretch works well.

Never used Paulstretch. Had a go on some chorus humming, pad-like thing, slowing it down by basically messing around with the tempo, and then stretched it all together. Kinda worked, sounds nothing like the JB one though.
