Definitely saw-based. Comb filtering? Eqing out a formant and then distortion?

I think its just a horn sample going through some processing
I grabbed the first one at hand and got this

Prob sound better if you picked the right sample as well, mine was a short stab of a saxophone, a longer one might do better, I'm just distorting it, and then 100% wet reverb with no predelay, a small room size and decay time, more distortion and then compressing the living shit out of it with abletons OTT.

AFAIK both aryay and twine use ableton so would be fairly definite they are doing something similar
