Old School Acid and The Hunger For The New In Techno

Hi Everyone
I've put up the first in a series of Blog posts I'm doing about the old school acid sound and I've the feeling some people around here know what I'm talking about. The kind of thing Spiral Tribe and Unit Moebius used to play in the early nineties. I've also tried to connect it's fate with the general tendency for people to want fresh new sounds in dance music. Please give it a read for me and if you think I left something out or I'm talking out of my hat let me know.
