Surprisingly enough I never played it on PS2 or Xbox.

That's probably because it's only for PSX and PC :6: (tho I guess technically you could play the PS version on PS2)

I think VIII is the only one I've never played (besides the MMOs), let me know what you think.

On a different note, I just finally got around to play The Last of Us, finished it last night. Damn :o

My brother bought a Wii U with Rayman Legends and Wind Waker HD couple days ago, definitely gonna be smashing a bit of Wind Waker out tonight.

Played Beyond Two Souls for three days before i got bored. I didn't feel that i was actually playing a game. More like directing a rather boring anime.

I have decided to play Resistance 3 until my friend hands over GTA 5

Trying to play as an Irish Count who seeks to create a dynasty that units the whole of Ireland into one Kingdom. Decided to give up on playing in England at the start because all the wars confuse me too much at the moment
My mate's been trying to get me into it lately and... I just can't. Any game that requires 20 hours of frustration and confusion before it becomes fun just isn't for me
i've got a good grasp on it now after a couple more sessions, can see myself playing it over and over for ages to come. It's definitely convinced me to go for Europa Universalis 4 as well.

The biggest problem is that this game has some of the greatest depth I have ever seen in a game, but for some reason gives you absolutely no "play along" tutorial or anything similar. Then the UI is just full to the brim with different buttons and informations and there are literally thousands of characters in the world as well.....
I had to watch a couple of let's play videos on youtube to understand everything but now I have just made myself the Duke of Dublin and Leinster and will be working towards conquering the rest of Ireland for my dynasty tonight!

But yeah I can totally see why people wouldn't want to play it.

At first it feels a bit like :u:

But now it's all like :U:

Yeah that hospital part at the end is intense, I had to grill most them fireflies with a flame thrower and some stealthy moves to get to the operating theatre, did not think it would end that way though, thought Joel would get snuffed.
Game of the year by far.

I could see myself giving them another go. Fallout 1 is a frustrating mess but its also somehow one of the most immersive and engrossing games I've played.

VIII's definitely my favourite but you do need to stick with it quite a while before the story really kicks off.

Definitely! All throughout the game I was "alright, I'm guessing Joel is going to get snuffed" then "maybe Elie will die at the end" and back and forth all the way until the end. Seriously emotional ending, and way better story-wise than anything I could have thought of while playing.
As for game of the year for me, serious competition between this and Bioshock Infinite.. I don't think I can decide.
