Correct me if I'm wrong but this is very poor audio quality isn't it?

Ehh it's a shitty mastering job + it's a demo. I just bought the reissue, but that song isn't on youtube.

Starting at 7.20 (although the guitar work on the entire track is excellent)

(Like any solo, it has more impact in the context of the body of music, so just listening to the solo it's like "oh cool" but when you listen to the whole song it's like "OH MY GODDDD")

Most impressive thing, the whole album is a demo... just a bunch of Ukrainian guys, a drum machine, and some old tape recorder. Their only good album IMO though, they changed their sound after that.

[Yes, I know the vocals are ridiculous]

Ever listened to Ygg? I like them waay, waay better than Nokturnal Mortum. It's a new project from some ex members I think. Whole album is really solid, but the song Ygg is especially good.

Oooh nope, never heard of them, I'll look them up! (And like I said, Twilightfall was the only release by NM that I liked, tried to listen to their other stuff but ehh)

Yup, you hit the nail on the head

And I dig Ygg, vocals remind me a bit of early Burzum :5: :5: :5:
