holy fuck i take my eye off the ball for a few days and suddenly Southside Allstars have stormed (if 'stormed' is a word you can use about a team that contains an invisible Luis Garcia and an off-colour Henry) into the Top 3! watch your backs skream and dudeski... :)

as for you boomnoise... *shakes head* ...too much skanking not enough managing?

Things starting to heat up, just a few matches to go, and everyone in the top-5 very close. And with the doubled points...

Slight prob with italy in the final = not enough premiership players to field a team...

Yeah i reckon by the final not much will change as everyone will simply have the french/portugal squad so there won't be much difference in positions between now and then coz we'll all get the same points for that week. Been wicked fun tho!

5th place business.

<i>the southside allstars board have declared themselves delighted with manager dan hancox's performance in a highly competitive tournament, and are currently in talks to renew his contract. rumours of a move into the vacant manager's position at real madrid were not confirmed by hancox's agent as we went to press.

hancox added in a separate statement:

"southside - that's where it's coming from. southside - that's where it's coming from. when i say 'south' you say 'run tings', 'south'..."</i>

sounds like someone who's played too much football manager in his life... but not as much as me of course

3rd place...not bad, but things looked better during the quarter finals. if there's a dubstep league next time then count me in!

it was always premier manager on the atari back in the day. i'd like to think i have better things to do with my time nowadays tho i'm not sure that's true...

speaking of football management games, did anyone see this story about the guy who applied for the middlesborough manager's job on the back of his champ. man. skillz? really made me smile in a sweet good ol' fashioned english wit kinda way...
